Gray Nester is the Chief Information Officer of CES Power and supports multiple AIP portfolio companies. He brings over 25 years of experience across technology, operations, and enterprise transformation.
- At CES Power, Gray works with executive leadership and the board to strengthen asset visibility, build confidence in enterprise data, and improve operational and financial performance.
- He previously served as Chief Information Officer of Brown & Brown Insurance and spent more than fifteen years at BB&T Insurance Services as Divisional Chief Information Officer, following earlier technology leadership roles in the insurance sector.
- Gray is Founder and Managing Partner of Nester Consulting, which advises boards, chief executives, and leadership teams on enterprise transformation, operational integration, and scalable growth. He also co-founded idFederation.org, a technology nonprofit serving the insurance industry, and has served on the board of NetVU.

Gray is a graduate of Mississippi College.
Personal
Gray lives in Florida, where he plays golf year-round. Outside of work he spends time with his family, supports his community, and collects wines produced entirely in the United States.
